Pets LawsMontgomery County Animal Control laws and HVCA Rules & Regulations require that all pets (on property that is not owned by the pet owner) are to be leashed or carried and in the company of a person that is capable of physically restraining the animal. It is unlawful to allow your pet to run at large, to allow your pet’s defecation to remain on property that you do not own, and to allow your dog to create a public nuisance.
