Assessment Fees

Purpose

All owners in Homeland Village pay assessment fees for the upkeep of the common property in the community.  The Annual Budget determines the amount of the monthly assessment fee and provides details of what the community has spent and expects to spend.

Payment Due Date

Assessment fees are due monthly on the first day of each month.  Coupon payment booklets, containing twelve payment coupons and mailing labels are sent to all owners prior to January 1.

Late Fee Policy

Homeland Village Community Association assessment fees are due from each homeowner on the first day of the month. A late fee in the amount of $10.00 is due when any assessment fee is not received on or before the 15th day of the month. A late fee in the amount of $10.00 is placed on any account with a balance of greater than $30.00 on the 15th day of the month. Late fees will not be waived unless it is determined that the fee was mailed before the first day of the month.
